Sportsbook Power Rankings

My team & I have used every one of these sportsbooks since 2023.
This list is ranked by how much we won before they showed us the door.

  • #1

Pinnacle has been an industry leader for decades. When they move their odds, every sportsbook moves their odds. They usually have the most customer friendly odds in the industry. They welcome all sports bettors and will never restrict you for winning too much. Every sports bettor should have a Pinnacle account.

If you can’t get a Pinnacle account because of location restrictions, head over to Bet105 aka “Pinnacle 2.0.” They are a crypto only sportsbook that offer discounted odds (!) don’t care about KYC (!!) or your location (!!!). Like Pinnacle, they welcome all sports bettors and will never restrict you for winning too much. Great spot for arbitrage and/or middling.

  • #3

Bookmaker has been an industry juggernaut for decades. Similar to Pinnacle, when they move their odds, every sportsbook follows suit. They won’t kick you out for winning, but if you don’t give them balanced action, they will chop your limits in weaker markets. Great spot for arbitrage and/or middling. Good crypto deposit bonuses.

If you’re lucky enough for Circa to be operating in your state, they are definitely a sportsbook worth having in your arsenal. Another rare spot that doesn’t restrict or kick out winners. Great for arbitrage & middling. Best customer service in the game. They are currently operational in these states: NV, CO, IL, IA, KY

I like Bodog because I have a lot of buddies who work there and they’ve been around forever. Company longevity is important when playing at an offshore sportsbook. I was very surprised at how long they let me go before I started seeing restrictions on my account. They have had the longest leash of any of the “recreational” sportsbooks I’ve played at.

Bovada is Bodog’s twin sister that only caters to USA customers. I like them for the same reason I like Bodog. Long leash for winners, lots of markets, easy crypto deposits/withdrawals & minimal KYC. Keep an eye out for their crypto deposit bonuses, they’re usually substantial.

FanDuel was one of my favorite sportsbooks to play at. With a fresh account, they are not scared to take a pop (big bet). I noticed them taking positions on certain markets which is ultra rare for a “recreational” sportsbook. You can do some damage here before they employ their tiered restrictions. Keep an eye out for their lucrative new customer “no sweat” bet bonus.

Bet365 should be in every sports bettor’s portfolio. Industry leader in terms of offerings. You can bet on EVERYTHING here. Fantastic interface makes them the best place for beginners. Their leash for winners has shortened over the years, but you can still turn a good profit before restrictions. New account “First Bet Safety Net” is something to take advantage of.

BOL is a well respected offshore sportsbook that has been around for as long as I have been in the industry (very long time haha). They give you a very long leash if you’re betting popular markets. They’re quick to restrict if you’re picking on the unpopular stuff. Most pro bettors have accounts here. I like their simple crypto in/crypto out deposits & withdrawals.

DK is great to have in your arsenal because they have a ton of recreational bettors that they’re sometimes forced to cater to (free half point on MNF, anyone?). They offer a ton of markets and their interface is elite on both desktop and mobile. Great place to start for beginners. Keep an eye on their bonuses around football season, there is usually some great value there.

My old stomping grounds! I worked at BetUS from ‘03-’06. They offer the biggest bonuses in the industry. Just pay attention to their hefty rollover requirements. They give very big limits and won’t restrict popular markets. They will (quickly) restrict anyone trying to take advantage of the unpopular stuff. Keep that in mind if you’re trying to complete a rollover there.

Full transparency here, I have not had much success at Caesars. They got the best of me when I lived in Vegas in 2022, and I have yet to take a withdraw here in Ontario. I think it’s a bad luck scenario as I know a lot of sharps who do very well at Caesars. They’ve reported 5x-10x their deposits before restrictions. The annoying thing about Caesars is they do not have a desktop site. App only.

Prior to 2025, BetMGM was a great out. Post 2025, they’ve fallen into the so-so category. I was able to 7x my deposit in 2023, but accounts since have only been able to get to 3x max before being restricted. They have a lot of markets but charge more juice (tax) than FD, B365 or DK. Their live betting markets are vulnerable.

You probably won’t be able to siphon a ton of money out of Big D*ck Vic, but they are worth having in your arsenal. Be careful of their weird welcome bonus setup. There is a timed rollover on it that is not very common in the industry. I got stung by it TWICE (fool me once, shame on blah blah blah yep) We’ve had a few accounts that were able to 3x their deposits.

MyBookie is another offshore sportsbook where I have buddies on the inside (comforting). Like most offshores, I love the simplicity of crypto in/crypto out. Rec players will like their bonuses. If you’re sharp, be careful of their rollover requirements. I was stuck for months making $50 bets at a time (because of restrictions).

I have mixed feelings about Pointsbet. On one hand we’ve had some good success there, on another hand, their traders can be very stingy. Betting unpopular markets will get eye balls on your account quickly. If you’re a rec player, I’ve heard their VIP program is pretty awesome.

SIA = BetMGM = Party Sports = Bwin. They all use the exact same odds and have the exact same interfaces. Prior to 2025, SIA was gold. Post 2025 they have been very disappointing. I‘m fairly certain all 4 sportsbooks share customer information these days, which means if you get restricted at one, you’ll be restricted at all 4.

Coolbet doesn’t have the strongest bookmakers on staff, but they also don’t give you a very long leash to work with if you are a winner. You’ll be lucky to 4x your deposit before having your account restricted. Be careful of multi accounting here. I know some sharps who had their winnings confiscated for doing that.

People think I’ve lost my mind when I talk highly about Uncle Leo. We have had some really good runs here. Could the long leash be luck of the draw? Considering they’re a Kambi sportsbook (very timid)…probably. That said, if you want a Kambi book in your arsenal, this should be your first target.

My besties! I worked here for 13 years, and then…(see pinned tiktok/IG vid) I hate their clunky website, I hate their bulky app, and I hate their nonsensical betting limits. But are they easy to rough up? Absolutely. They make a lot of mistakes. Get in there before they turn into a Kambi (very soon I’m told).

I like their market offerings and initially they let me swing a bit. Then the first set of restrictions came, then the next, then the next…some markets went all the way to $0 max bet. What I cannot stand about this place, is they committed the cardinal sin. They heavily restricted one of our accounts when it was down thousands of dollars. That’s theft.

2023 Bet99 was glorious. 2024 & beyond has been embarrassing. Their layout is great, they offer a ton of markets, but don’t you dare show signs that you know what you’re doing. The limitation shackles will come fast and furiously. Pro tip for Bet99 execs: spend less $$ on GSP adverts - spend more $$ on hiring skilled bookmakers.

Party gets the bronze medal in the MGM family. Party = SIA = BetMGM = BWin. They all have the same odds, platforms and website layouts. As of 2025, I’m pretty certain they all share customer info as well. I had a much longer (winning) leash at MGM & SIA. If you like bonus & perks, they’re better at MGM.

While many sharps say that Betway has the shortest leash in the industry, I had a slightly different experience here. I found longevity by using the account sparingly. That said, regardless if you slow play or rip thru them, if you’re sharp, respectable limits won’t last very long.

If you’re in the ROC (rest of Canada) market and need a very beatable sportsbook, 888 is worth a shot. If you’re in Ontario or beyond, there are many better options out there. I had a lot of website/app issues playing here. Frustrating when the account only lasts a few weeks to begin with.

Based on leash length before restrictions, I’d give them the bronze medal amongst Kambi sportsbooks. I had an issue with my e-transfer deposit here, where money was caught in limbo between my bank and the sportsbook. After a couple weeks (yes, with an S) Ballybet finally acknowledged the deposit in their system. Frustrating.

Yawn, another boring Kambi sportsbook. I was able to extract more from Leo, Casumo & Ballybet. Fun story about PlayFallsview - they gave me some free slots spins upon signup. Against all odds, I managed to get lucky and cranked a jackpot for $1300! IMMEDIATE withdrawal after that. They paid without delay. TYVM!

Kambi sportsbook #5 in the Risky Pisky rankings. I was hopeful that a sportsbook linked to the media giant that is the Toronto Star would have some courage and go head to head with their customers. That is not the case (at all) here. You can expect lightning fast restrictions if you show even the smallest signs of knowing what you’re doing.

6 bets. That’s what it took to be restricted to $2 max bet on all markets at Powerplay. Pathetic. I would love to know what kind of credentials license issuers look at when allowing a sportsbook to come into market. I’ve been given longer leashes from high school bookies.

I went into Titan as soon as they became regulated in Ontario. I had a great run here, mainly because they are terrible at what they do (bookmaking). I know I wasn’t the only sharp to take advantage and nowadays they have turned into a criminal enterprise. If you’re sharp, they will severely restrict you and tell you, you have a 5x rollover EVEN IF YOU DIDN’T TAKE A BONUS. I really don’t understand how they’re a licensed bookmaker.

Betonic is Titan. Titan is Betonic. I’m not sure if they’re owned by the same company, but their odds, interface and criminal 5x rollover rule WITHOUT A BONUS rule are identical. These guys are also notorious for letting your bet spin while they make a decision to either take it, or reject it and move the odds. This is criminal behavior and you’re going to want to avoid it at all costs.

Ubet recently violated every sports bettors trust. After the 2024 NFL football season their website mysteriously went offline for maintenance and stayed that way for several weeks. There was NO communication to any of their customers until a bunch of us started screaming about it on X. They eventually responded saying the maintenance was legit and all funds were safe. They came back online shortly after, but no longer offered sports betting. Too high risk - stay away.
